Nonlinear Quantum Optics group at SDU part of new EU network

July 10, 2018

The Nonlinear Quantum Optics group at SDU joins a newly established EU research network, where a total of seven research institutes have joined forces to approach the goal of an optical “Bell-State Analyzer”. Besides SDU, the other international partners are TU Vienna, Universität Rostock, University of Nottingham, Universität Wien, Aarhaus Universitet, and the Ferdinand-Braun-Institut in Berlin. The 3-year project is supported by the EU with 3 million euro and officially started on the July 1st, 2018. More details can be found in the press release by the project coordinator from Vienna.
At SDU, the supported research will focus on the development of novel Rydberg-based logic blocks for all-optical quantum information processing. To learn more about this work, please visit the NQO group website.
