Opening for Assistant Professor in Nano Science and Technology

March 14, 2018

The Danish Institute for Advanced Study seeks two outstanding candidates to fill positions at the Assistant Professor level in Nano Science and Technology.

The positions are sponsored by, and located at, the University of Southern Denmark and start in autumn / winter 2018.

The appointment is for four years with the possibility for a subsequent two years of employment as Associate Professor.

We offer a uniquely ambitious research environment and ample research funding attached to this particular position, and, for the successful candidate, a position where options for tenure will be discussed during a third-year review. Beyond this seed funding and besides being part of an excellent academic environment, D-IAS offers the strongest possible support in applications for further external funding from prestigious national and European funding schemes, e.g., Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions and the ERC starting grants.
